What is a clubhouse?

Self-sustaining model where members work and run the daily activities of the clubhouse.

Our programs revolves around a work-ordered-day rather than treatment or therapy.

Clubhouses operate on standards of The International Brain Injury Clubhouse Alliance (IBICA). These standards were developed over 70 years ago and adapted from Clubhouse International (CI).

Currently, there are 18 acquired brain injury clubhouses in the United States. The Brain Injury Network clubhouses are the first and only two Texas-based ABI clubhouses.

Members work, build vocational skills and increase self-esteem. Members also develop confidence in their ability to contribute productively. Members, staff and volunteers all work together in the units to run all aspects of the organization.
