You can make a difference in the lives of others and improve our community.

Get Involved

Your commitment to BIND Members means a great deal to us.  As we celebrate our 8th birthday in 2020, we give thanks to you for seeing our potential and helping us realize our vision.  Your contribution helps us fill a gap in services for adults with acquired brain injury – it is estimated that only 5% of survivors in Texas receive all the support they need to recover. Please click on the DONATE button to make your gift to BIND today.

In 2015, BIND opened its doors to 8 brain injury survivors only 1 day each week. Today, we have grown to serve over 70 survivors in our full, 5 day per week program. You can help us with supplies for our program by donating paper towels, toilet paper, postage stamps, white printer paper, K-cup coffee pods or other items listed on our Amazon Wish List.

Together in 2019, BIND Members wrote about their physical and emotional healing after sustaining a brain injury. “BIND Us Together” contains incredibly deep stories of perseverance and immeasurable strength. Order your paperback or electronic copy on Amazon – all proceeds are donated to the BIND program. Click here to order your book today.

Join our Bridge Leadership Circle

In the darkness of the pandemic – bright light has emerged. BIND has been awarded two-year funding to support operations and programming!  These funds, available in December 2020, will support Plano operations and expansion into Tarrant County. Our members, Board, volunteers, and staff are excited and ready to grow to reach more families across North Texas.

Between now and December lies a $100,000 funding gap that we must cross in order to move into our future.

Members of the BRIDGE LEADERSHIP CIRCLE are helping bridge the gap through gifts of $500 or more. Joining this giving society supports BIND through the unexpected impact of the pandemic and helps ensure services for brain injury survivors continue into the future. Contact Tara Judd Longley, Development Director to learn more about Bridge Leadership Circle membership, benefits, and opportunities for involvement.
